About Association
“Russian Vodka” Producers Association (APRV) was established in 2010. Federal State Enterprise “SOJUZPLODOIMPORT” and JSC “MOSCOW PLANT “KRISTALL” became its founders and first members.
As of today the following producers joined the Association - LLC “Bryanskspirtprom”, LLC “Russian Standard Vodka”, PJSC “Beluga Group” (LLC “Sinergia), JSC “Ladoga Group” (LLC PG “Ladoga”), JSC “Rosspirtprom” (Association Honorable member), JSC “Buturlinovsky Distillery”, LLC “Siberian Vodka Company” and LLC “STELLAR Spirits and Bottling”.
The main purpose of establishing the Association is to coordinate members’ activities in export and production of alcoholic beverages as well as preservation of proper usage of appellation of origin (AO) – “Russkaya Vodka”/“Russian Vodka” on the territory of the Russian Federation and abroad.
In accordance with the Charter, the main aims of the Association are:
- Providing actions aimed at legal protection of Russian appellation of origin (AO) “Russkaya Vodka”/“Russian Vodka” on the international market.
- Ensuring the development of the domestic market of vodka products containing the indication of appellation of origin (AO) “Russkaya Vodka”/“Russian Vodka”
- Promoting vodka products with the indication of origin (AO) “Russkaya Vodka”/“Russian Vodka” as high-quality beverages produced from natural raw materials by traditional methods.
- Ensuring the control and supervision over the quality of the goods produced with the indication of origin (AO) “Russkaya Vodka”/“Russian Vodka”
The primary purpose of “Russian Vodka” Producers Association is the registration of the indication of origin (AO) “Russkaya Vodka”/“Russian Vodka” in the European Union and other international markets. It is necessary for more effective activities of Russian alcohol producing companies on the European alcoholic beverages markets as well as the control over supply of pseudo-Russian and counterfeit products.
The Association is carrying out wide range of activities – informational, analytical, scientific-technical, juridical, marketing, re-selling and others.
The Association efforts are focused on providing necessary comments and clarifications, grounded responses and conclusions, taking into account technical, historical, political and diplomatic nuances. Besides, it is vitally important to attract new participants possessing relevant knowledge and experience, get the support of governmental bodies.
Member of the Association can be any commercial organization possessing a certificate proving the right of usage of indication of origin (AO) “Russkaya Vodka”/“Russian Vodka” as well as/or persons belonging to the same group/organization with them.
The Association welcomes the entrance of new members and is open for mutually beneficial cooperation.
